This trek off the tourist trails is an alternative to the Annapurna balcony. It presents a variety of magnificent unforgettable panoramas over the Annapurna, Machapuchere and Dhaulagiri mountains. The route crosses Gurung villages, rhododendron, bamboo forests and terraced rice fields. Most of the lodges are managed by the local communities, which makes it possible to finance schools and various projects in the villages crossed.

Itinéraire par jours
Day 1: Reception at Kathmandu airport by the agency and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Visit of Kathmandu: Swyambudnath, Dubar square, Pashupatinath, Bodnath… – Hotel.
Day 3: Departure to Pokhara by tourist bus – about 6 hours by bus (plane on request) Hotel.
Day 4: Transfer by private vehicle to a small town Beni, starting point of the Khopra trek, then short walk to the small village of Banskharka, the route through the forest which overlooks Kali Gandaki.Banskharka, 1550m – 2H30 market. Community logo.
Day 5: Departure for Nangi, climb in the forest, a view of the Dhaulagiri massif. After breakfast in Dandakateri, the path levels out to reach Nangi and its terraced crops. 2300m – 6h walk. Community Lodge.
Day 6: Departure for Mohara Danda, approximately 2 hours of climbing in the forest. Lunch is taken as a picnic on the hillside. The view is sublime from Mohara Danda, one of the most beautiful panoramas in the region. 3350m – 5h walk. Community lodge.
Day 7: Descent through the forest and into the mountain pastures, then 1 hour climb before reaching the village of Swanta, a view of the Dhaulagiri massif (8167m) .Swanta 2300m – 5h30 walk. Community lodge.
Day 8: After an easy warm-up in the forest, the path crosses the river via a suspension bridge and goes up towards Chistibung, then we continue with a climb which is sometimes a little steep to reach the Khopra pasture, possibility of seeing Yaks. 3650m – 6h30 walk. Community lodge.
Day 9: Day around Khopra, an excursion to Khayer Lake, 4600m (9h walk), Hindu pilgrimage sites, Khopra embraces three valleys and offers a superb unforgettable panorama of the Dhaulagiri and the Annapurnas. back to Khopra. Community lodge.
Day 10: The path descends on the hillside and we pass by a sometimes very narrow path before joining Bayeli, then we continue through a superb forest of rhododendrons to Dobato, 3400m – -5h walk. Lodge.
Day 11: In the morning, it is possible to witness the sunrise from the Muldai viewpoint. A long descent into the forest to Tadapani before descending to Ghandrung, one of the most beautiful and most important village Gurung, Ghandrung, 1940m – 6.30 hour walk. Lodge.
Day 12: The descent on the stairs through the terraced crops bring us into the Modi Khola valley, up to Nayapul, and return to Pokhara by vehicle – 4h of walking and 1h30 of driving. Hotel.
Day 13: Departure from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus (possibility of flying by request) – Hotel.
Day 14: Free morning in Kathmandu and transfer to the airport.
